Hermitage Bay brings a new style of luxury resort to Antigua. Nestled in a secluded cove on the west coast of Antigua; with over 1000ft of white powder sand beach, uninterrupted views across the Caribbean Sea and the most amazing sunsets. The resort consists of 25 single storey Cottage Suites set in 10 acres of tropical gardens. The views from all suites are spectacular and especially from the Hillside Cottage Suites with a breathtaking vista out to Montserrat on the horizon.

The individual Cottage Suites are located by the beach and on the hillside overlooking the sea. All are connected by pathways meandering through the resort, creating an aura of peace and tranquillity. Built from tropical hardwoods with rich wooden floors; the décor is in white and neutral shades; the furnishings can be described as ?contemporary colonial?. All fixtures and fittings are to a high standard; linens, robes and towels are exquisite. All understated, unobtrusive luxury.

Each Hillside Cottage Suite is built to provide complete seclusion and has a personal plunge pool with sunbathing area & chaises. A wrap around open air deck incorporates a lounge area, day beds and dining area. Wonderful hardwood doors lead into the air conditioned bedroom with luxurious king size bed. All have wide flat screen TV, I Pod and internet connections, wall safe, mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The bedroom leads into a spacious bathroom, where guests can bathe with a view of the Caribbean. There are twin wash hand basins and vanity dressing table with hairdryer; the ?garden shower? enables guests to shower under the stars. The spacious design provides over 1000 sq ft of floor space. Guests have panoramic views of the Caribbean from all rooms in their Hillside Cottage Suite.

The Beach Cottage Suites are literally that? in front of the beach. There are just 8 suites each with extensive terraced veranda and day bed. The bedroom and sitting room area are air conditioned. The entire suite offers over 800 sq ft of floor space. The bedroom has a luxurious king size bed, wide flat screen TV; I Pod and internet connections; mini fridge; wall safe and tea & coffee making facilities. The bathroom is very large with bath, twin wash hand basins and outdoor garden shower.

The restaurant and bar are located in front of the long sweeping beach. The restaurant is tiered at different levels to afford each table a spectacular view, at the same time creating intimate dining areas. Lunch is also offered around the shaded patio and pool areas. Service of meals and beverages is also available to each suite at an additional charge.

The emphasis throughout the resort is on understated luxury, with unobtrusive service from happy, smiling Caribbean folk.

CHILDREN:

*Hermitage Bay accepts children age 12 - 16 years except for the period July 1st to August 31st when they accept children age 8 and above. Children may share with two adults in the Beach Cottage Suites, maximum of one child per suite.

The Hermitage is pleased to announce that its executive chef has been recognised as the overall winner of the 2008 International Foodservice competition for Caribbean and Mexico beating 400 applicants.

All meals are offered a la carte in the restaurant overlooking the sweeping beach, or alternatively may be served around the pool, bar or on the beach. The dinner menu changes daily to ensure the quality of cuisine available on the island each day. Hermitage Bay?s all inclusive rates include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, hors d'oeuvres at cocktail time and dinner, together with a choice of several excellent house wines and all beverages, including premium branded drinks. A full wine list and deluxe brands are available at an additional charge
