When you arrive at the airport first go through immigration and then pick up your luggage. As you depart the luggage area, a Funtime rep. will be waiting with a sign. The rep. will direct you to the vehicle and load your bags for you. A two minute ride to the Funtime dock which is located just around the corner from the airport.
Once you arrive at the dock, the rep. will take your passport so they can be listed on the manifest. Then you board the boat and take the relatively short ride to Anguilla. The boats are not crowded as they have a 12 person max. for each boat.
The ride is more expensive than the regular ferry but you will avoid the taxi ride to Marigot and the wait for the next ferry.
When you arrive on Anguilla you must once again go through immigration and customs.
A porter will come to take your bags. You have the option of saying yes or no. If you allow the porter to take your bags he will deliver them to the exit of the port to your taxi or car but will expect a "tip".
It is not a tip but actually a fee and he expects at least $2.00 US. If you don't want to haul your bags it is a good option but you do not have to accept the porter and can carry your own bags if you wish.
